It uses a DVI interface to the monitor and it makes any HD look like kids-stuff. The less signal conversion you have to deal with, the better your picture and sound will be. If you have the chance to go with a DVI cable, do it, they're relatively close to the same price but the quality is WAY better with DVI. I completely agree with you.
